Pert Bally A Paris, No.1960. Circa 1840. Early grande-sonnerie striking and repeating carriage clock with ariarm.
Foliate engraved and gilt one piece case glazed on all sides. White enamel dial with Roman chapters, Arabic alarm ring below. Blued steel "trefoil" hands. Rectangular brass movement with going barrels, interchange lever or grande/petite sonnerie/silence on the backplate, striking on two bells. Frosted and gilt platform with lateral lever escapement. Signed on the backplate. In very good condition. Dim. 13.8 x 9.5 X 8 cm. excluding handle.
