Jump, London, m.x.g.v., bearing the London Hallmarks for 1889. Very elegant 18 ct. gold and enamel half hunting cased keyless watch.
Double body massive "demi-bassine et filets" engine turned case with Roman numerals on a white enamel chapter ring on the border of the dial aperture. Engine turned dial with Roman numerals on a polished chapter ring, and subsidiary seconds. Gold Breguet hands. Very thin gilt brass 17"' three quarter plate movement, 18 jewels, English lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel balance spring with terminal curve. Signed on the dial and the movement. In very good condition. Diam. 45 mm. Jump was the sole maker in England capable of producing watches and clocks in the Breguet style but adapted to the British market and with typical English high grade movements.
