Outer double body engine tumed case in a basket work pattern. Plain double body polished inner case. Embroidered small lace with the name of the Borrekens family inside the outer case. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Gold Louis XV hands. GiIt brass full plate movement with baluster pillars, applied pierced and engraved decoration on the back plate, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain brass three armed balance with mock pendulum, fine Dutch silver cock with semi-circular aperture and chased fabulous animais, garnet endstone. Signed on the back plate within the cock aperture. In very good condition. Diam. 50 mm. Fine exemple of early machine engraved basket work decoration on a watch case.
