Double body outer case with bright cut engraved borders, the bezels with white pellet decoration on a blue guilloché ground, the back centered with an oval panel painted en grisaille with a mother and child on a sepia ground ( restoration to blue enamel, the scene with surface scratches). Double body inner case pierced and engravedl with scrolled foliage, a Phoenix and a grotesque mask. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring? bearing the name of the owner. Blued steel poker and beetle hands. GiIt brass dust cap. Full plate gilt brass movement with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, brass wheel cylinder escapement, plain steel three armed balance, English cock with diamond endstone. Repeating on a bell by means of the depressing pendant. Signed on the dust cap and the back plate. In good condition. Diam. 49 mm.
