Longines, Swiss, circa 1900. Fine 18 ct. gold hunting cased minute repeating Westminster carillon keyless watch.
Four body massive "demi-bassine" case, chased overall with scrolls and flowers, a small monogram engraved on the cover. Gold cuvette decorated with medals awarded in Exhibitions. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals and subsidiary seconds (hair cracks). Gold Breguet hands. GiIt brass 19" movement, 29 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on four gongs with four hammers, by means of a slide on the band. Signed on the dial, the cuvette and the movement. In good condition. Diam. 54 mm.
