L. Côte à Mâcon, Swiss, made circa 1882. Fine 18 ct. pink gold keyless pocket chronometer, awarded the second prize at the 1882 Neuchâtel Observatory contest.

Four body massive "pomme et filets" polished case. Gold cuvette engraved with the awarded prize. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and subsidiary seconds. Gold Louis XV hands. Fine nickel plated three quarter plate 19" movement, "fausses côtes" decoration, 20 jewels in gold screwed settings, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, large cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring.Signed on the cuvette. In very good condition. Diam. 54 mm.
