Anymous. Swiss. Circa 1890. Fine 18ct gold hunting case quarter-repeating keyless watch with hidden erotic automaton.
Massive four-body "bassine et filets" case entirely engraved with foliage, flowers and caryatids. Double cuvette with inscription "Keep it up, Grandpa". Hinged to reveal the erotic automaton with "taille-douce" engraved, silverd and gilt bedroom interior. Enamelled figures in the foreground. On/off lever in the edge. Engraved silver dial with Roman chapters and applied two-colour gilt floral decoration and subsidiary seconds. Blued-steel "spade" hands. Frosted and silvered 1 7 ' movement, 27 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs by means of a slide in the band. In good condition.
