H.R. Ekegren, Geneva, No 78156, made for J.E. Caldwell & Co, Philadelphia, circa 1920. Fine and rare 18 ct. gold minute repeating keyless watch with an independent striking train.

Four body massive "demi-bassine" polished case, a dedication engraved inside the back. Gold cuvette engine turned on the edge. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals and subsidiary seconds. Gold Breguet hands. Fine nickel finished 17" double train movement with a differential winding, 29 jewels, equilibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring with a swan neck micrometric index. Repeating on gongs, the repeating train released by means of a push piece on the winding crown. Signed on the dial, the case and the movement. In very good condition. Diam. 48 mm.
