A. Lange & Sôhne, Glashütte B/Dresden, No 45419, circa 1903, D.R.G.M. 121267. Rare and fine 18 ct. pink gold hunting cased keyless pocket chronometer with a 60 minute Karrusel regulator.

Four body massive "Lucia" engine turned case the cover engraved with the monogram: "G.N.". Gold cuvette engraved with a dedication dated May 12, 1914. White enamel three piece dial with Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds. Gold Louis XV hands. Very fine giIt brass 19"' three quarter plate movement, l a quality; 14 jewels, lateral gold lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with poising screws and diamond endstone, Breguet balance spring with a swan neck micrometric index. The escapement is set on a 60 minute revolution carriage driven by the center wheel. Signed the dial, the case and the movement. In very good condition. Diam. 60 mm.

The karrusel watches made by Lange & Sôhne used a 60 minutes period a rotation comprened to the 52 1 /2 minutes of the English watch made by Bonniksen. Only 77 examples were manufactured.
