Rare and interesting equinoxial sundial combined with a perpetual calendar. Magnificently engraved gilt brass plate with the engraved latitudes of the different European cities. Separate readings on two ribbons with engraved hours for the morning and for the afternoon. The equatorial dial slides on an arch where the elevation the poles is engraved, the hours are indicated by an arched gnomon that moves along the scale of the months. Under the plate are two silver rings with the indications of the perpetual calendar and the zodiacal signs.
