C. Brass pivoted panels engraved with foliage on all sides, four turned baluster columns. Wooden base with drawer and original key. D. Fixed, of silvered brass, Japanese nurnerals. Central pin setting alarm disc, revolving "beetle" hand. Calendar apertures below. M. Lantern frame construction, fusee going and striking trains, separate alarm barrel. Double foliot verge escapement, silk suspended with adjustable weights. Strike and alarm on a bell. Moulded wood travelling case with sliding glazed panels, pierced and engraved brass fret work sides and handle. In good condition. Dim.26 x 17 x 13mm.
