C. Rectangular black marble base with canted corners, gilt brass round feet, two gilt brass brackets supporting the movement. D. White enamel ring with Roman hour chapter, outer minute ring with 15 minute Arabic markers, ormolu bezel. Blued steel Breguet hands with hollow tips. Five subsidiary calendar dials below; the two to the right and the one in the middle for Gregorian date, days of the week with corresponding planets, the two to the left for Revolutionary decades (date and months). M. Y-saped frame of heavy brass, four-wheel train, pin-wheel escapement, heavy brass-steel gridiron compensation pendulum, brass bob, spring suspension.Signed on the dial.Dim.
