Mahogany, glazed on both sides, the front and the back, rectangular removable cresting above molded cornice supported by mahogany corbels, the whole also removable revealing a pin releasing the sliding back panel lock, rectangular base with molded top, ivory knob on the back panel, gilt brass chiseled bezel decorated with repeated acanthus-leaf pattern, square mahogany feet. D. White enamel, listing from outermost to the center: Revolutionary months and decades, Gregorian months, Revolutionarminutes and hours, duo-decimal minutes and hours, the center repeats the revolutionary months, all revolutionary indications in black, Gregorian and duo-decimal in red, all numerals Arabic. Elaborate gilt brass duo-decimal hands, blued steel revolutionary hands with, on the hour hand a Phrygian cap over a pike, date aperture behind the bezel, two winding apertures. M. Round, brass full plate, cylindrical pillars, going barrels, pin wheel dead beat escapement, steel-brass gridiron pendulum, knif-edge suspension set on a brass bracket fixed to the top panel of the case, micrometric adjustment on the crutch, striking on a bell, count wheel on the back plate.Dim.
