Notes

In 1931, the "La Champagne" watch factory of Louis Müller & Co. patented a watch with "roll winding", which was launched under the name "Wig-Wag". Similar to the Rolls model, the movement is mounted in a rolling case. The back and forth movement of the wrist activates the automatic winding. The energy is transmitted to the mainspring by a jointed parallelogram lever, mounted in an elastic fashion, so as to function as a shock-absorber as well.
