C. Outer: two-body, tortoiseshell covered, elaborately engraved British coat-of-arms on the back, silver pins. Inner: two-body, "bassine", polished. D. Silver, champlevé radial Roman numerals, outer minute ring with five-minute Arabic markers on polished oval cartouches. Blued steel "beetle and poker" hands. M. 40 mm, gilt full-plate with tulip pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain steel balance with flat balance spring, single-footed cock with streamers and angled foot.Signed on dial and movement.Diam. 55 mm.
