C. Both two-body, "bassine", polished. D. Silver, champlevé Roman numerals, outer "arch", minute ring with five-minute Arabic markers on polished oval cartouches, center chased with a Cupid holding a heart in his hand and small date aperture. Blued steel "beetle and poker" hands. M. 41 mm, gilt full plate with fluted round baluster pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain steel balance with flat balance spring, double-footed cock with cut half-circle for the mock pendulum, the other halchased with a cupid writing a letter.Signed on dial and movement.Diam. 56 mm
