White marble base with gilt beads at the top edge, gilt brass circular feet, ormolu oak-leaf decoration in front, four round marble columns set within ormolu seats supporting two arches, the front one in blue opaque enamel with gold paillon stars and multicolored paillon floral decoration, enameled neck with matching decoration, the top with phases of the moon supported by small enameled bracket with decoration matching the lower part.D. White enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute ring, with 15-minute red Breguet markers, outermost 30-day Republican calendar with Breguet numerals within gold paillon circles separated by gold laurel leaf paillons with central red enamel dot imitating rubies. Stylized gilt fleur-de-lis hands. At the center of the arch, days of the week dial with corresponding planets decorated with matching paillons, the top with enameled phases of the moon with white enamel segment for its age with Arabic numerls within gold paillon circles. M. Circular, 11 cm, brass, four-wheel going train, anchor escapement, pendulum with steel rod terminated by gilt "sun" bob, silk suspension, striking on a bell with count wheel on the back plate.Signed on the central enamel panel of the case.Dim.
