?Manual Double-Dialed Perpetual Calendar with Chronograph? P. Orr & Sons, Madras, British, ?Manual Double-Dialed Perpetual Calendar?, No. 4010. Made for the Indian market circa 1880. Fine and rare, hunting-cased, keyless, 18K yellow gold pocket watch with manual perpetual calendar and chronograph in champlevé enamel-decorated case.
C. Four-body, "bassine et filets", solid, champlevé enamel-decorated covers with floral motifs and scrolls, borders and case band engine-turned. D. Front: White enamel with painted radial Roman numerals, outer minute and chronograph divisions, central gold leaf divisions, sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel ?fleur-de-lys" hands. Back: White enamel with subsidiary dial for the days of the week and aperture for the moon phases, outer blue-enameled reserve with the date and the months of the leap year cycle. Gold ?feuille? hands. M. Cal. 19''', frosted gilt, 13 jewels, lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring. Dial signed, case numbered.
