Notes

This watch is from a limited and numbered edition of 250 examples, replica of Movado military watches from the beginning of this century. This model was specially developed in 1913 for the Swiss Army and was used during World War 1. It comes with its own unique packaging: a genuine, so-called " Mannsputzzeug" (personal maintenance kit) from old Swiss army stock. This maintenance kit consists of a cloth holder containing various items which Swiss soldiers needed to maintain their uniform; needle and thread, various buttons for the leather belt, shoe polish, brushes for clothes and shoes, etc. One brush has been removed and in its place there is a small wooden case which holds the watch. This watch, an important part of Movado?s history, would be a unique addition to any watch collection. "Monza"
