?Swan Lake? Attributed to E. Gübelin, Lucerne, No. 58059. Made circa 1915. Very fine and very rare, 8-day going, silver-gilt, painted on enamel, ivory and glass mystery table clock with the original gold-tooled morocco box.
C. Circular-form, the side decorated with translucent aquamarine guilloché enamel and fine painted on enamel continuous groups of flowers, raised on a dentilled band and four stepped and fluted feet. D. Ivory colored enamel chapter ring with pale blue painted radial Roman numerals intersected by single roses, the center with a mirror to simulate water and a carved ivory swan, it?s lowered head indicating the time. M. 59 mm., frosted gilt, threequarter plate, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, bimetallic compensation balance with two adjustments, Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Diam. 11 cm., 6.6 cm. high overall.
