C. Four-body, "bassine et filets", polished bezels, reeded band, engine-turned back cover with polished border and vacant cartouche, bolt at 5 o'clock to lock the seconds. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with two eccentric dials, to the left the mean time dial and to the right the 12-hour recorder, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, outer independent seconds track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "Breguet" hands. M. 42 mm., 19''', frosted gilt, 23 jewels, counterpoised lateral lever escapement, bimetallic compensation balance, blued-steel flat balance spring, index regulator, independent dead seconds by means of a flirt wheel acting on a small pinion mounted on the escape wheel arbor.
