?Quarter-Repeating Square Watch? Swiss, No. 16442. Made circa 1910. Fine and unusual, quarter-repeating, large, square, gun metal and yellow gold keyless table clock designed as a watch.
C. Three-body, square, gun metal, gold bezel, bow and crown. Glazed cuvette over the movement. D. Royal blue translucent guilloché enamel over an engine-turned sunray ground, radial Roman gold paillon numerals, outer dot minute divisions, subsidiary seconds. Gold ?spade? hands. M. 46 mm., 20???, frosted gilt, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs via a button in the crown. Dim. 54 mm. Square.
