"Vue de Cité Russe" Swiss. Made circa 1835. Very fine and rare, three-color gold and painted on enamel snuff box.

C. Rectangular, bombe, matted ground decorated with applied varicolored gold foliage, hinged lid set with a finely painted on enamel view of a Russian city (probably Moscow) from across a river with figures in the foreground, gold stiff-leaf frame within a foliate border.
