"The Quiver" Geneva, goldsmith's mark "I.C.I.". Made circa 1820. Very fine and rare, 18K gold and enamel, turquoise-set musical box playing two tunes.

C. Three-body, rectangular with rounded corners, the hinged lid with applied matte gold bow and quiver set with turquoises within a hexagonal blue enamel frame, the whole on wavy engine-turning, borders with translucent imperial blue enamel flowers, the base decorated en suite with central portion entirely engine-turned, sides with a translucent imperial blue enamel geometric pattern and en suite engine-turning, button for activation in back; for changing music in front. M. Cylinder type with a V-shaped comb of 54 tuned vibrating blades in 18 sets of 3 each. Punched with maker's mark in lozenge inside front lid, the movement punched 527. Dim. 82 x 50 x 21 mm.
