"Modernist" Léon Hatot, (ATO). Made circa 1933. Fine and very rare, chromed, painted and glass Modernist Art Deco desk clock with alarm. Accompanied by the original drawing.
C. Multi-piece, chromed support with cream painted terminals, rectangular glass base. D. Circular, rotating, polished chrome with notched baton hour indexes and green painted dot halfhour indexes. White painted "baton" hour hand and green painted "baton" minute hand. M. 45 mm., nickel, lateral lever escapement, monometallic balance, flat balance spring, index regulator, alarm setting disc with aperture in the back of the case. Case signed. Dim. 14.3 x 11.3 cm.
