?Minute Repeating? A. Lange & Söhne, Glashütte, I/SA, B/Dresden, No. 91764. Made in 1938, sold on December 12, 1938 to Adolf Lunser, Berlin, for the Third Reich, and presented to Dr. Morell on July 22, 1944. Very fine and historically important, large, minute-repeating, 18K gold, hunting-cased, keyless pocket watch. Accompanied by the original box, spare mainspring, guarantee, certificate, Extract from the Archives and full provenance.

C. Four-body, ?Royal à goutte?, solid, polished, the interior of the front cover with an engraved dedication ?Zum 22.7.44 mit den herzlichsten Wünschen? and facsimili signature. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel, three-piece, Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Gold ?Spade? hands. M. 43 mm., 19???, 1A (first quality), frosted gilt, 29 jewels, the going train with screwed gold chatons, straight-line lever escapement with gold escape wheel and pallet fork, Lange cut bimetallic compensation balance with peripheral gold adjustment screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, diamond endstone, swan-neck micrometer regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 57 mm.
