"Royal Blue and Gold Flowers" Le Roy et Fils, Horlogers du Roi, a Paris, No. 12444. Made circa 1830. Fine and rare, thin, 18K gold and champlevé enamel ?digital? jumping hour pocket watch with eccentric dial.
C. Four-body, decorated entirely with engraved flowers and leaf scrolls against a royal blue champlevé enamel ground. Hinged gold cuvette. D. Silver, eccentric polished chapter ring for the minutes with baton divisions and Arabic 15-minute numerals subsidiary seconds, aperture above for the hours with Arabic numerals. Blued steel seconds hand. M. 36 mm., frosted gilt, Lepine caliber, standing barrel, jeweled cylinder escapement, plain three-arm brass balance, flat blued steel balance spring, index regulator.
