Notes

The Hatot master clock has a half-second pendulum which activates contacts to the left and right. At each alternate swing, these contacts transmit a current directly to the coil of one or more clocks with quarter-second beating pendulums that do not have their own contact systems. As such, they are synchronized with the master clock and each secondary clock receives an impulse at each oscillation of the master clock?s pendulum.
