?Karrusel? Mappin & Webb, London. W., No. 54066, movement by Bahne Bonniksen. The case with London hallmarks for 1897. Very fine and rare, early, keyless, hunting-cased, 18K yellow gold pocket chronometer with 52 1/2 minute Bonniksen patented Karrusel regulator.
C. Four-body, "pommes", solid, polished, master mark ?HW?. Hinged gold cuvette with engraved dedication. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel ?spade" hands. M. 42 mm., (19'''), frosted gilt, 3/4 plate, jewels in screwed chatons, counterpoised lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold timing screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, all mounted on Bonniksen 52 1/2 minute Karrusel platform. Dial and movement signed, Bonniksen?s patent number on the pillar plate. Diam. 51 mm.
