"Watch with 9 Complications" Henry Lewis, 172 New Bond Street, London, No.11/700, the movement by Audemars Piguet, No. 2149. The case with London hallmarks for 1890. Very fine and rare, large, minute-repeating, astronomic, 18K gold, hunting cased, keyless pocket watch with perpetual calendar, chronograph, progressive 60-minute register, moon phases and lunar calendar.

C. Four-body, "bassine et filets" massive, solid, polished, master mark "AS" (Alfred Stram). Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and concentric fifths of a second chronograph track with Arabic five second numerals, subsidiary dials for months and leap years concentric with 60-minute register, days of the week, date, seconds, lunar calendar, aperture for the moon phases. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 46 mm., 20''', frosted gilt, three-quarter plate, jewels in screwed chatons, lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, diamond endstone, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by slide on the band. Movement signed by Henry Lewis, scratch signed "Audemars Piguet, No. 2149? on the back of the moon phase disc. Diam. 56 mm.
