Very fine and rare, large, minute-repeating, 18K yellow gold, hunting-cased, keyless pocket watch with chronograph. To be sold without reserve

C. Four body, massive, "bassine", polished, the front cover decorated with an applied gold monogram. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals, outer minute track and outermost fifths of a second divisions with red painted Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds with red numerals. Gold "Louis XV" hands. M. 19???, rhodium-plated, ?fausses cotes? decoration, 35 jewels, wolf's tooth winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, micrometer regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band, visible chronograph mechanism. Cuvette signed by the maker & retailer, signed on the front plate beneath the dial, dial with owner's name. Diam. 54 mm.
