?8-Day Dashboard Clock? Léon Hatot, (ATO), Paul Garnier, ?8 Jours?. Made circa 1939. Fine, and probably unique, military, black patinated brass, 8-day, water-resistant, center seconds, double cased dashboard clock with bezel winding and hand-setting.
C. Outer: two body, black patinated brass, three holes for securing to the dashboard, screwed-down top with milled edge. Inner: two-body, secured to the outer case by four posts and nuts, glazed milled-edge bezel rotating for the winding and hand-setting via a lever in the side. D. Black with luminous Arabic numerals, outer minute track intersected by 24-hour numerals. Luminous white hands. M. 44 mm., Cal. 4000, 13 jewels, rhodium-plated, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, special alloy flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed. Diam. 12 cm.
