?Concealed Hand Setting and Back Winding? ATO, (Léon Hatot), No. 38722. Made circa 1930. Fine, very rare and unusual, square, stainless steel gentleman?s wristwatch with concealed hand-setting wheel and back winding. Accompanied by the original manual user.
C. Square, brushed, lapidated lugs, one side hinged and opening to reveal the hand-setting wheel, finger-tip back winding. D. Black with radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds. Steel ?baton? hands. M. Square, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed. Dim. 32 x 26 mm. Thickness 9 mm.
