Notes

This mechanism was made for use in industrial or institutional situations where bells needed to be sounded throughout a building at a set time, such as in factories or schools. The system uses holes and pegs to set the required alarm time intervals, when a lever hits the passing peg it tilts the mercury contact switch and triggers the alarm.
