Two-body, ?Louis XVI?, the bezels decorated with a chased intertwined leaf and chain pattern, the back cover decorated with a finely painted on enamel scene of a shepherdess and two sheep painted ?en grisaille? in a polychrome landscape and pink ground, gold paillon border, outer sky-blue border with gold leaf paillon and white enamel decoration. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer dot minute divisions and Arabic five-minute numerals. Fancy pierced gilt-metal hands. M. 38 mm., frosted gilt, full plate, fusee and chain, verge escapement, three-arm brass balance with flat balance spring, continental balance cock with polished steel endplate, silver regulation dial, repeating on a bell activated by depressing the pendant.
