C. Three-body, "Empire", the back enamel panel finely painted with a bouquet of summer flowers over a pale blue ground, the bezels, pendant and bow set with split-pearls. Gilt-rimmed glazed cuvette hinged to the movement ring. D. White enamel with narrow radial Roman numerals and outer minute and seconds divisions, outer Arabic fifteen-minute numerals. Blued steel "ovoid" hands. M. Gilt brass, Chinese caliber with freestanding barrel, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, bimetallic compensation balance with temperature and meantime adjustment screws, blued steel flat balance-spring, index regulator. Dial and movement signed, case signed in Chinese characters. Diam. 56 mm. Property of an English Collector
