C. Three-body, ?Empire?, solid, polished with reeded band. Spring-loaded hinged, gilt metal cuvette fixed to the movement ring. D. White enamel annular chapter ring with Breguet numerals, outer dot minute divisions. Blued steel ?Breguet? hands. ?Martin- Martine? type varicolored chased gold Jacks on each side of the dial over the polished steel repeating work set over the frosted gilt front plate, appearing to strike the hours and quarters on two bells, a small gold appliqué below the dial with trophies of love and a cherub striking a further bell. M. Gilt brass, full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece, repeating on two gongs activated by depressing the pendant.
