VARIATIONS BY HARRY WINSTON ON THE THEME OF EXOTIC BIRDS New collection ? new challenge This project is a major first for Harry Winston. Indeed, it is the first time that enamel has been used with diamonds. Furthermore, this challenge has provided a particularly rare opportunity for the various traditional watchmaking crafts and time-honoured skills to come together. A rich and subtle theme Despite the small size of the dial, the ultimate expression of these exotic birds is achieved through their stylised beauty. The bird is represented by its plumage in a refined evocation through a kind of visual metonymy. This mini-collection creates a luminous atmosphere using a rich palette of shaded natural colours that unfurls from the dial to the case. A subtle reinterpretation and legendary craftsmanship Merely glancing at the dials of the four pieces instantly reveals their asymmetry; a hallmark of the brand reinterpreted here through the interplay of colours, as well as the design itself. Gems are a particular field of Harry Winston?s expertise: here, brilliant-cut white diamonds and naturally coloured sapphires have been selected using the most stringent criteria. Their hue is a determining factor in creating the subtle shading of colours specific to each bird; matching them together and then with the enamel was a particularly lengthy and painstaking task. Limited series and charity auction Each of the watches comes on a satin strap in a colour that harmonises with the dial. The mini-collection will be produced in limited series and will only be available through the very few Harry Winston salons worldwide. In addition, Harry Winston is committed to making its c o n t r i b u t i o n t o a n a u c t i o n b e i n g o rg a n i s e d by Antiquorum, the profit from which will be donated to an association for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (Monaco). The watches are available as a set and housed in the same presentation case, the first serie will be presented to Antiquorum for this event. Notes

Nicknamed the ?King of diamonds?, Harry Winston did not just know diamonds. He loved them. In its over 100 years, Harry Winston owned, cut or sold more than sixty of the world?s 300 largest diamonds ? more than any other individual, government or royalty. Some of the most famous stones were the Jonker, the Vargas, the Hope, the Star of Sierra Leone or the Taylor Burton.
