I&MT History of a passion ?Whoever can feel passion, can inspire?, wrote the french author, Marcel Pagnol. That is how the history of Instruments et Mesures du Temps began. I&MT is a brand new watchmaker, founded in 2005, moved by a great ambition: to become one of the most creatives, the most innovatives, the most originals companies of Swiss luxury watch brands. I&MT is the result of a passion. The passion shared by a small group of men and women, aesthetics, car, gear and mechanics enthusiasts, as well as by collectors in search of chronometric instruments for regularity or pure speed trials. As so often in this kind of adventure, passionate discussions ensued, ideas came tumbling out, the desire and will to create a prototype and a policy were born and were to bring into being a significant brand. These enthusiasts called on Christophe Golay, an independent watchmaker, specialising in made-to-measure luxury watches, based in Carouge (Geneva), to put their basic idea into practice. A first limited run of 22 units in steel and 22 units in pink gold slipped off the production line with elegance and dignity. One small detail was that its personalised dial made each individual model exclusive and unique. The name of each purchaser is written on the running reserve. I&MT is still going further on with this policy. Today, I&MT is proud to present for Only Watch 07 its unique piece named ?Instrument de Mesure de Régularité?.
