"Index Mobile". Produced in the 1950's.Unusual stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with square button split-second chronograph, register and tachometer.
C. three-body, polished, overhanging concave teardrop lugs. D. two-tone silver with painted black Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds and 30 minutes register dials, outer blue tachometer graduations, concentric, red fifths of second scale, at the center, visible hairspring. "Flèche" blued steel hands. M. 13 ''' rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, flat balance-spring, the coaxial single button on the winding-crown is for stop and reunite of the split-second hand. Sgned on the dial. Diam. 37 mm.The "Index Mobile" system was patented in 1948 by Georges Dubey and René Schaltenbrand.
