Universal Watch, Genève, No. 476583. Produced in the 1920's.Fine and rare 18K yellow gold gentle-man's wristwatch with single button chronograph, register, tachometer and telemeter.
C. three-body, solid, polished, hinged case back, oval shaped central lugs attached to mobile wire bows, chronograph button at 6 o'clock.D. white enamel with painted Breguet numerals, auxiliary seconds and 30 minutes register dials, outer telemeter graduation in red, at the center, spiral tachometric scale in blue and red. Above the 6, a Gordian knot, symbol of the "Maison de Savoie", Sovereigns of Italy. "Spade" blued steel hands. M. Cal. 297, gilt brass, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring.Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 39 mm.
