Fortis, Grenchen, "Automatic Chronograph with Alarm", No. 599. 10.170. Produced circa 1998.Fine self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with alarm, date, round button stop-seconds chronograph, registers and a stainless steel Fortis buckle.

C. two-body, brushed, screwed-down case back, thick case and lugs, push-button on the 8 for alarm, three positions for the winding-crown: 1 = winding, 2 = quick date adjustment, 3 = time- and alarm-setting and stop-seconds. D. black with tritium-coated Arabic numerals and square and triangular indexes, auxiliary dials for the seconds, the 12 hours and 30 minutes registers, outer minute scale, apertures for the date and for the on/off alarm indication. "Lozenge" tritium-coated hands, black with aorange arrow for the alarm. M. Cal. F 2001, rhodium-plated, 34 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self-compen-sating flat balance-spring, alarm with hammer.Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 40 mm.
