Hamilton Automatic, "Chrono-Matic Fontaine-bleau", Ref. 11001-3. Produced circa 1950.Unusual, self-winding, water-resistant, "monocoque", horizontal oval, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers and date.
C. two-body, polished and brushed, made from a single block of steel, on the back a watertight ring and logo, lapidated bezel, winding-crown on the 9, chronograph buttons on the 2 and 4, shaped crystal. D. matte silver with applied steel indexes on a black outer ring, auxiliary black oval dials for the 12 hours and 30 minutes registers, aperture for the date. "Bâton" tritium-coated steel hands. M. Cal. 11, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absrber, self-compensating flat balance-spring, integrated micro-rotor.Dial, case and movement signed.Dim. 46 x 40 mm.
