Notes

The "Ermeto" watch by Movado was developed by Huguenin Frères, Le Locle and patented in Germany on October 12th, 1926, DRP No. 443 555. The name, from the Greek, means "sealed", and therefore resistant to external influences.A similar watch is published in "The Movado History", by F.V. Osterhausen, p. 79.
