Waltrin L'Aîné à Epinal (France), circa 1760.Fine and rare eight day-going hour-striking miniature "Capucine" clock.
C. Resembling a lantern clock, rectangular brass with lateral doors, four bun feet, four finials and surmounted by a bell. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and inner quarter-hour ring. Steel "arrow" hand. M. Posted frame with steel square pillars, going barrels both on the going and the striking trains, verge escapement, small bob pendulum, count wheel on the back plate.Signature engraved below the dial. Dim. 11 x 4,8 x 4,8 cm.
