Nocturne, Swiss, No. 4079, circa 1910.Very fine silver, enamel and agate, eight day-going minute-repeating carriage clock.
C. Rectangular, of translucent blue enamel over elaborated radial engine-turning, with white champlevé enamel bezel and white champlevé enamel borders. Rectangular gray agate base and moonstone repeating button at the top.D. White enamel with Arabic numerals and gold outer minute divisions. Rose diamond-set "arrow" hands. M. Rectan-gular gilt brass, going barrel, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance-spring. Repeating on gongs.Signed and numbered on the movement, movement bears the Swiss patent No. 30225.Dim. 7,5 x 5,2 x 5,5 cm.
