Estienne Le Noir A Paris, circa 1710.Fine leather-covered gilt brass "oignon" watch.
C. Two-body, "oignon", silver pinwork rosette in the center of the back cover. D. Gilt brass with white enamel cartouches for Roman hour chapter, similar small outer cartouches for five-minute Arabic markers, inner enamel quarter-hour ring, center chased and engraved with inhabited foliage. Blued steel "poker" and "fleur de lis" hands. M. 47 mm, hinged, gilt full plate with Egyptian pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with steel balance and short balance-spring, Louis XIV cock pierced andengraved with inhabited foliage.Signed on the movement.Diam. 61 mm.
