Unsigned, Swiss, No. 7436, casemaker's mark "L.&C" over a coronet, circa 1820.Fine 18K gold musical quarter-repeating watch playing on the hour or on demand.
C. Four-body, "Empire", the back cover engine-turned in a sunburst pattern, reeded band, gilt brass hinged, cuvette. D. Gold with circular white enamel cartouches for Breguet hour chapters set on engraved ring, white enamel outer minute ring, engine-turned center, separated from the hour chapter by a blue enamel circle. Gold "Breguet" hands. M. 52,5 mm, gilt brass, fixed barrels, cylinder escapement, three-arm gold balance with flat balance-spring, Sur plateau musical movement with 23 tuned teetalternating on both sides of the disc, repeating on bell by depressing the pendant. Case and movement stamped with serial number.
