C. Three-body, "Empire", polished with reeded band. D. Enamel with painted on enamel scene of an old Germanic city and its clock tower, off-white dial with Roman numerals, two winding apertures for the music and the going train. Gold "arrow" hands. M. 48 mm, gilt brass skeletonized full plate engraved with musical instruments, fixed barrel, cylinder escapement with steel escape wheel, plain three-arm balance with flat balance-spring, continental cock, pierced on one half, engraved on the other,usical mechanism with pinned barrel playing on a single stack of eight tuned teeth, music-activating slide on the band at 6 o'clock.Diam. 56 mm.
