Bazile-Charles Le Roy (1765-1839),was the founder in 1785 of the house Le Roy, soon to become famous.Unsigned, Swiss, circa 1790.Fine gilt brass watch with painted enamel dial.

C. Two-body, "Louis XVI", the backpainted on enamel with a romantic scene in a garden, gold paillon border.D. White enamel, Breguet hour chapter with outer minute ring, to the right a boy climbing a ladder, a river below and a house opposite. Brass hands. M. 42.4 mm, hinged, gilt full-plate with square baluster pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement plain brass balance with flat balance-spring, continental cock pierced and engraved.Diam. 52 mm.
